Sometimes there is nothing better than the magic of a boy/girl duo. Spare. Clever. Wonderful. The pairing of Lewsberg’s Arie van Vliet and Yaël Dekker of The Klittens shares a sensibility with Young Marble Giants, Beat Happening and like-minded booksmart charmers who don’t feel a need to overdress their recordings. That puts the spotlight squarely on their playful duet stylings, sharp lyrics and rock solid songwriting.
